Training: February 2000 · February 19 th 0800-1600, 4x4 Course at Durango. · February 27 th , Basic Map and Compass. · February 28 th , March 4 th , and March 5 th , Basic Desert/Alpine Survival. March 2000 · March 4 th 0700-1600, Handgun Fundamentals at MCSO Shooting Range. · March 8 th , Personal Safety for SAR Personnel. · March 11 th 0800, Practice Shoot at MCSO Shooting Range. Bring your own personal ammunition. · March 16 th , Radio Procedures. · March 18 th 0800-1600, 4x4 Course at Durango. · March 26 th , CPR Recertification (if needed). · March 27 th , April 1 st , and April 2 nd , Basic Desert/Alpine Survival.

April 9 th at 0700, Mod-00 at MCSO Shooting Range. Class starts promptly at 0700, do not be tardy. Ensure you bring the following: Duty Ammunition Safety Glasses Ear Protection Ball Cap Authorization Letters 3 Identical Magazines Note: Upon arrival at the shooting range, ensure you visit the weapon clearing station promptly.
